Bench 11 Feb. cardio face pulls front DB raises flat bench with 15 lb. dumb bells suspended using mini bands bar x 10 55 x 10 65 x 9 1/2* decline bench with the same get up 55 x 10 x 2 55 x 7 incline, nothing hangin' 55 x 6 55 x 7 55 x 8 abs **I've pointed out before that it's the partial reps that really make the difference. I feel like this particular 1/2 rep was special. I literally felt my muscles grow larger during the bar's half-trip up from my belly. This very special 1/2 rep totally made the whole night worth while.

Derek, I'm all about the half reps. I don't understand why the concept hasn't taken off??? Brett, I try my hardest to keep all these guys in line, but they mostly don't listen to me. hahaha. I had a good time working out with them last night. Will and Mark got me laughing so hard I had to get control of myself before getting under the bar. And of course, I always love workout out with Greg. It is amazing to watch him squat! You should see the way his ass looks and........wait, you probably don't want to hear about that. I had a good squat last night. I wasn't sure how it was going to go since I was still pretty sore from Monday night's workout. Benching with suspended DB's makes you use a lot of muscles that you didn't really know were there. Has anyone else ever experienced sore arm pits? Seriously weird. Anyway, once I did a little cardio and got my blood pumping it was okay. cardio abs bar x 10 x 2 105 x 5 145 x 5 195 x 3 put on briefs 235 x 3 265 x 3 www.youtube.com/watch?v=84qJmXAVOm8added reverse bands 285 x 3 www.youtube.com/watch?v=TVZKA-6rGNk325 x 3 375 x 1 www.youtube.com/watch?v=lsbU-KL5IWI 415 x 1 www.youtube.com/watch?v=rZAiob2ZWHQ 465 x 1 with help from Greg www.youtube.com/watch?v=mR6j8RSK8_QI've never had that much weight on my back. It wasn't nearly as scary as I thought it might be. I was really happy with the way all the weight felt and how I moved it. Thanks to everyone last night for helping out so much with loading, unloading, adjusting the monolift, etc. I'm such a pain.

Thanks for all the encouragment guys! It really felt great to have that kind of weight on my back and actually do something with it. I had such a good time working in with everyone! I feel certain that I will break 400 the next time I compete--especiallyl with everyone pushing me to do better with each lift.
Hillary, I'll email you this week. We've gotta make plans to get together!

17 Feb--speed squat
Yesterday's workout was decent. I graduated up to the next DB for my obliques! It's a baby step, but it made me feel good. I worked hard, whined a bit, hurt myself a little, then called it a day. You really can't ask for a better workout.....a little sweat, some frustration, a bunch of cursing and a little bruising....nice.
abs seated rows
sp. squat bar x 10 added green bands bar x 5 95 x 2 115 x 3 x 3 sets 135 x 3 x 3 sets 185 x 1

It's been a little bit since I posted. Work has been kicking a**, plus I lost my training book. I'll just pick up with Sunday's pull. 24 Feb speed deads standing on 2" platform with mini and monster bands doubled 95 x 1 x 3 sets 115 x 1 x 3 sets 145 x 1 www.youtube.com/watch?v=FRDjCka0ctkGM's with SSB bar x 10 85 x 10 x 3 It's been a while since I did GM's. My stupid hamstrings are still sore today from those bit*hes. It's painful to walk like a normal person. 26 Feb Bench abs bar x 10 x 3 75 x 5 95 x 5 shirted 135 x 3 165 x 2 added reverse bands (purple) 185 x 1 205 x 1 ---This was actually a miss, but I did finish the lift with Greg's help. 205 x 1----I had a teeny tiny bit of help on this one. I like to call it the "fingertip bump." www.youtube.com/watch?v=FBcX7Z64ucsflat DB presses 30 x 10 35 x 10 x 2 sets 40 x 9 (and a quarter ) plate shoulder presses--3 sets of 8 So, Greg has this thing about becoming "gorilla strong." I like that--it's catchy. Well, I am getting ready to do a set last night and he yells out, "Come on, Sharon, chimpanzee strong!" I almost peed my pants. I'm going with it.
