Friday Night Squat night: 230x5 280x5 (should have only done 2, oh well) 370x2 430x1 505x1 535x1 550x1 and this week was a whole lot faster. Will move it up next week. Will also get into my new squat suit next week, with Brett. This should make a difference. I do not think this old suit is helping much. But the knee wraps"convict" are awesome.

Bench night: Well it just went bad! 135x5 185x3 230x1 250x1 shirt 3 boards 300x1 3 boards 340x1 touch chest 365 (no go) my left shoulder popped out of socket(went right back in) but does not feel good when you are benching, of course 365 did not come back up. tried it again and just could not do it. Tried tricep board presses (nothing) iced my shoulder and went home. Weighted myself when I got home and I had lost 6 lbs this weekend. (should have known when I could see more than 4 abs putting on my shirt, looks great but not so great for powerlifting.)Guess I did not eat enough junk . Have to be careful with this because the heavier weight I move and the closer I get to a meet I start dropping weight (must be my body burning more, the old bodybuilder metabolism kicking in) Need to force feed extra, which can be hard when you are not hungry. Oh well, enough complaining. Just do what I have to to be a champion... More Bacon, cheese burgers and fries for me !

Derek: Thanks. Feels much better. I think the shock of popping out of socket is what hurt. Lossing 6 lbs probably did not help. I am pushing more sodium to hold some water, which is helping. I have thick muscular shoulders which probably protected them from getting really injured. I will be doing rotator exercises with every workout now. Again, Thanks for asking.

i have pretty weak shoulders so that happens often when i bench in a shirt when i'm around the chest. honestly the rotator work never did anything for me. did it for 4-5 years and didn't make any difference. if you findsomething that works let me know!
