I think it should have passed too. In my opinion it wasn't even a close call. What can you do though? Everything that could have went wrong did on that day. That taught me a lesson. You had no control over getting a nasty infection and not having that passed. You clearly had your worst day and that's just bad luck. Atleast we know you're human.

retard update
aside from the meet i haven't really lifted in 3 weeks. i'm still sick but feeling better even though this is the 3rd day i've had no voice. the girlfriend loves to make me repeat things so thats helped, just payback for me being deaf i think. may do some light lower body crap today for some blood flow. head judging a little raw bench meet at stratiform tomorrow at 6:30 and was informed i'm to lift also, probably to make everyone else feel strong. the only point of it is to shut up an idiot that is claiming a 410 bench, the only problem is his trainer deadlifts also while spotting his benches. many people in the gym have gotten tired of it so we now have the "Stratiform - Kings of the Bench 1". this meet is open to any other idiots who would like to be embarassed also. update soon!

The commercial gym that Sharon & I go to needs to have one of those. I'm pretty sure Sharon would kick most of the guy's asses it they had to do a real bench press not the drop,bounce and catch on the way back up.

Meet results for me
opened light at 225 to get the meet going hit 250 on a 2nd pretty easy missed 275 on a third.
my last 2 attempts i tried to get a lil jacked for them but when i'd get mad i'd start coughing and crap. what really sucked was laying down getting an arch and having all the crap in my lungs fill up my throat, couldnt breathe! its about what i expected for being sick and not lifting in 3 weeks. meet was A LOT of fun! judging was easy because everyone understood the concept of touch and go and not bouncing unlike the other meet i judged. there were 3 bounces the whole time and they all missed the lifts anyway. easy day for me aside from the lifting. talking about doing a deadlift meet next, probably raw. working on videos right now and should have a finished product tomorrow hopefully!
oh! almost forgot, captain obnoxious who had been bragging about his 410 bench opened up with 350 and got PINNED! let me spell that for ya PEE EYE IN IN EEE DEE. i'm not sure if actually learned anything from that because he made the following excuses.
1. i didn't warm up right 2. didn't warm up long enough 3. has the sniffles 4. pinched nerve in shoulder and couldn't raise arm (but spotted and loaded weight about 15 minutes later). 5. didn't sleep well the night before.

ME lower body Got to work out with travis today for the first time really and had a lot of fun even though i could barely get the squat bar back in the rack for it being so high and he had to dive back into the rack cause a tall shaved sasquatch. not planning on going real heavy today, just getting back into it. dynamic leg swings raw box squats 1-2" below // 55 2x5 145 2x3 255 2x2 345 3x2 400x1 missed second took out box 400x2 easy that was fun! thats all i'm focused on for a good while besides getting fat and happy. just gonna have fun for a few weeks or months 18" strongman deadlift never done this before on travis' strongman blocks used hook grip (texas power bar) and conventional in true strongman fashion 255x2 435x2 525x2 hook grip pr switch grip 615x1 straps 705x0 weight floated but couldn't muscle up close sumo stance 705x1 figured i was done there then travis put on another plate. 800x1 lift moved so slow i couldn't tell where i was. locked it out, dropped it and stumbled/fell back and landed on a bench and hit my head on a wall. i'm smooth as all get out.......... wish i would've brought my camera! song of the day: metallica - shortest straw www.youtube.com/watch?v=-wJ0gzqOoaElesson: don't go heavy sick or you hit your head
