guess i'll throw a log on here to see if i can get any help or extra ideas from the surrounding minds! here are some catch up workouts leading upto the meet this weekend. 8/23/07 ME squat last heavy squat before the meet. 150x5 260x3 briefs 350x1 440x1 490x1 add tater sack to chains 3" high 580x0 fell forward, just being stupid and not sitting back. forgo the strength of the sack! 650x0 fell forward after hitting the chains. i think the chains kicked me forward a bit i don't know. dropped chains - still going a lil high 650x1 easy about 2 inchs high 700x1 a tad lower and a lil faster 650x1 to depth with buddy calling it that took feakin forever!!!!! i'm handling the weight better than i ever have, 700 didn't feel bad at all, like an old friend ME bench last shirt bench before the meet warm up 45 2x10 95x8 135x5 185x3 225x1 add shirt 280x1 no touch 330 2x1 all smooth 3-board 410x1 easy overload touch set 460 to chest www.youtube.com/v/xxygbMZxhAolight upper back and tri work and thats it. all the work in the gym is done aside from light stuff for de-load. song: dimmu borgir - sorgens hammer www.youtube.com/watch?v=nlYUYocMjUAlesson: satanists have feelings too

just got back to will's house from weigh ins. was 165 right on the dot with a quarter pound to spare. ate some barbeque on the way back so all is good in the world! put back on 5lbs in 2 hours just 10 more to go. starting to feel halfway normal again! now that all the hard crap is over i can focus on the meet.

7pm now and i'm holding at 175 after a large crappola and a nap. blood pressure is high now as my salt intake has just recently been upped a lot.

Meet day
making weight seems to have weakened my immune system as i got a sinus infection while i was rehydrating the day before the meet. weight was back up to normal but energy was way down felt like warmed over death on meet day and still do. they gave some major gifts sometimes 2" high.
squats 1st 650 miss- hit parallel and came up after hearing up call. finished the lift with high spirits and relieved but only to find out i got 2 reds. whatever 2nd 650 miss- broke parallel and came halfway up but didn't have enough energy to finish. 3rd 650 miss- same exact thing as 2nd
well that generally sucked, they told me i could bench and pull if i wanteddn't get credit for it.
bench 1st 330- wtf you think i'm gonna bench when i don't have to!??!?!!! forget that! really just skipped to avoid beating up shoulders but feel like i tore something from slapping my boy will on the back before a lift.
deadlift 1st 525 good- actually lifted it fast 2nd 600 X- no energy 3rd 600 X- strained hard for a sec then things started goin dark. next thing i knew was that i had 20 hands grabbing me holding me up. weird stuff. travis said i was out for a sec but not long. in retrospect, i just shouldn't have tried it. i couldn't help it though,he bar was right there waiting for me.
great seeing everybody at the meet and had a great time hanging with team torture watching the fight.
big thanks to my boy Will for letting me stay with him from thursday to sunday, i couldn't have been better prepared for the meet even though i was sick, he made sure everything was as good as it could be.
don't know what all video was taken i'll post whatever i get.
