Hey Derek just make sure and bring a tank top with you for walking through the mall afterwards, you'll look like puff the magic dragon!

10/10 Dead-lift
3 sets of abs to warmup
Dead-lift off floor 135 x 8 225 x 5 315 x 1 Added Metal King D/L suit 405 x 1...straps down Straps up 495 x 1...UGLY! 495 x 1...cleaned it up 585 x 1 635 x 0 635 x 1...it was an all out grind! The jury is still out on the suit, I'm happy with for now. Thats the most I've pulled off the floor. I did it before when Derek came down but seeing how my training has been lately it defiantly helped. My body weight is still down and strength is off so there's room for the numbers to go up for sure.
Rev-hypers 3 sets
More Abs 3 sets
DB Rows 3 sets
Lesson of the day: Greg has to be pissed to the point that I'm ready to bite the bar in half before I can pull big

Good work Greg, do you wear briefs under your DL suit? I have never worn briefs under my suit when DL'ing, may try it out next week.

When pulling and the bar is riding up your legs (not hitching), does the extra thickness of briefs and a suit cause a problem where the bar hits the start of the suit legs? With all that material (4 layers), it seems like there would be a shelf that could cause a hangup?

Steve, I know exactly what your talk'n about but I didn't seem to have any issues with that this time.
Brett it seemed to, like I say with the way my training has been I didn't expect to pull close to that. I was just going to work up to 500 and do some singles to get used to the suit but things were moving well so I went on with it.

interesting. i'm not a fan of pulling in briefs because of what steve said but i haven't tried them under a suit. i like the dynamics of just the suit being super freakin tight as long as i can get arched back when i set the straps up.
